The novel begins with a mysterious mission, where the narrator is assigned to monitor Hisham. Thus, without any introduction, fast-paced events begin, full of characters that overlap and intertwine. The narrator takes us on his journey to the city center, where Hisham and his colleague Jihan work, and goes with him to Angrita, where the narrator lives. It is a village that has decided to turn into a city, an ugly, random place that many do not know about its actual existence, and Sambo Bar, the place of daily gatherings. The story revolves around an intertwined narrative structure that grows as we delve into the details, written with a breathless, escalating rhythm in which Sobhi Moussa was able to attract us from the first lines, in a strange mission in which we become involved with him and the heroes of the work, going and coming from the center of the capital to the outskirts of the city, on a cultural journey across the city before it is a spatial journey.
