American novelist and journalist (1926-2021) born in the United States of America. He began studying medicine but left it and joined the College of Journalism. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Boston University and then obtained a Master’s degree in English Language and Creative Writing from the Graduate School of Boston University. He is famous for writing historical novels. He has published several novels, the topics of which are famous for focusing on the medical field, the history of medicine, and its ethics. The novel “The Rabbi” is considered the first of his fictional works. He has other works, including the novels “The Winemaker,” “The Death Committee,” “The Jerusalem Diamond,” and “The Last Jew.” , and “The Cole Family Trilogy,” which includes three novels: “The Doctor,” “A Matter of Choice,” and “The Clairvoyant.” It is worth noting that Noah Gordon won several awards, including but not limited to: the first James Fenimore Cooper Award for his novel The Clairvoyant, and other awards and honors.
