shackled hearts

115 EGP

In the collection of “Broken Hearts,” the writer tries to show us the other side of the story by diving into the depths of heritage to draw inspiration for his stories, some of whose events we may know, and he completes them with an amazing narrative imagination. We see Jamil ibn Muammar, Buthaina, and his journey to Egypt, Al-Farazdaq and his suffering with his wife Al-Nawwar, Wasil ibn Ata’ and his struggle with Bashar ibn Burd, and we follow Abu Nuwas, Al-Mutanabbi, Al-Ma’arri, Al-Buhturi, Abu Tammam, and others. The writer takes us on a precise and delicate observation, in a smooth language that suits the stories we read and live, with a very intelligent and skillful approach, so we read the stories as if we are hearing the poems inside them narrated by their heroes.
